As promised, here is the picture of Aiden figuring out his toes. Unfortunately for daddy, this happened while I was at work, so I cannot report for how long or how excited Aiden was by this adventure. I do know that today he reached down and grabbed his foot a couple of times, but his body suit had feet in it so he couldn't exactly grab the skin of his foot.
In other developments.... we MAY have a new culprit for why Aiden is not sleeping well. It seems some forms of Cradle Cap can be itchy to infants and cause discomfort. We know Aiden tries to scratch his forehead during the night. We just never really thought that was anything other than some sort of reflex action. But MAYBE he is actually trying to scratch an itch. The last week or so we have been making sure Aiden has mittens on so he cannot gouge himself with his fingernails, which also makes his hands less effective scratchers.
So is this the problem we need to solve in order to find a decent night sleep? The world may never know. But I'll be looking into infant safe anti-itch medications to see if it causes an improvement.
At some point I suppose I will need to do a bit of solid research on Cradle Cap and Eczema to share with you all. But for right now, the baby is asleep, so yours truly is off to bed himself.

Hey newbiedad-
Sounds like you do lots of research and that your little boy has several of the baby "entertainment centers" :-) We are new to all this stuff. Could you put up a survey or a rating system on some of the popular baby items?
Thanks!
